Selon la FAO (2 octobre 2026), l'indice des prix des produits alimentaires a atteint en moyenne 136,0 points en septembre 2026, soit 1,5 % de plus qu'en août et 5,8 % de plus qu'un an plus tôt. La hausse vient surtout des céréales, du sucre et des huiles végétales. L'indice reste 15,1 % sous son record de mars 2022.
