Dans un entretien au podcast « Parsha Inspired » diffusé pendant Souccot (26 septembre – 3 octobre 2026), le rabbin Tovia Singer déclare : « Nous avons un autel prêt… Il est construit. Il est ici. Il est prêt à aller sur le mont du Temple », et ajoute qu'un Temple n'est techniquement pas nécessaire pour offrir des sacrifices (précédent d'Esdras 3). Il précise que les pierres du Temple lui-même ne sont, à sa connaissance, pas disponibles. Les articles qui relaient ses propos (6 octobre) ne citent aucun projet officiel, aucune autorisation ni aucun calendrier ; l'idée que « seule l'autorisation manque » est un commentaire de rédaction, pas une citation du rabbin.
