What is reported

Reuters reported on 23 August 2026 Israeli strikes in Gaza that killed two people, including a four-year-old child, despite the ceasefire established in 2025. On 20 August 2026, Israel–Turkey tensions rose after an Israeli strike on a Syrian air base suspected of being able to host Turkish forces; Syria denies any planned Turkish deployment. No new data dated from 24 August to 5 September 2026 was found for this specific file.

Main objection (in French for now)

These are incidents and one-off strikes, not a declared war between Israel and Turkey.

The text (World English Bible)

Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

Matt 24:4-8
