What is reported

Chaque État membre de l'Union européenne doit proposer d'ici fin 2026 (autour du 24 décembre) au moins un portefeuille d'identité numérique européen. En mai 2026, l'autorité estonienne indiquait que trois États membres seulement étaient en avance ; le 15 septembre 2026, un expert cité par Euronews estimait que « très peu d'États membres » tiendraient l'échéance. La Suède vise 2028-2029.

Main objection (in French for now)

Les États avancent à des rythmes très différents et beaucoup risquent de manquer l'échéance : c'est l'inverse d'un système unifié. Il s'agit d'une union régionale librement constituée, pas d'une autorité universelle (Ap 13:7).
