No earthquake of magnitude 7 or more was identified for the period from 28 August to 5 September 2026 in the searches carried out. The catalogue summaries consulted count about ten earthquakes of magnitude 7.0-7.9 for the year 2026, an order of magnitude in line with the historical annual average.
