What is reported

The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Jewish Agency announce more than 20 000 new immigrants during the Jewish year 5786 (September 23, 2025 – September 3, 2026), coming from about a hundred countries: 5 685 from Russia, 4 364 from France, 3 333 from the United States, 975 from the United Kingdom. Applications opened exceed 28 000. For North America, Nefesh B'Nefesh counts more than 1 100 arrivals in August 2026, a monthly record according to the organization. On the other hand, a Tel Aviv University study counts 90 922 Israelis who left for at least three months in 2025 (91 499 in 2024, about 60 000 per year in 2010-2019), of whom 45 000 to 50 000 for a year or more; some will return, and the official twelve-month figures will not be known until 2027.

Main objection (in French for now)

Emigration is of the same order of magnitude as immigration: the gathering is not one-way.

The text (World English Bible)

“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Ezek 36:24

Say to them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

Ezek 37:21-22

It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Isa 11:11-12
