In short

The announcement. Jesus, in the Gospel of Matthew, announces that “immediately after” the great distress, the sun will be darkened, the moon will no longer give its light, the stars will fall and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

What happened. This has not happened yet. The text places these signs just after the end of the great distress, and just before the appearing of the Son of Man in the sky.

What is still debated. this “immediately after” refers to the end of the distress described by Matthew, not necessarily to the end of the other three-and-a-half-year periods of Revelation.

Main objection (in French for now)

L’adverbe lie les signes à la FIN de la tribulation de Matthieu, pas nécessairement à la fin de toutes les périodes de 3½ ans mentionnées ailleurs.

The text (World English Bible)

“But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;
